London was about 15-20% smaller then Paris and NY probably 35% smaller than Paris >> Archived Message

The Rainbow room in NY was half the size of Paris. In the room with examples of each designer there were probably twice the fashions. There was a room of just suits that ran in chronological order. I found NY emphasized a lot of Maria Grazia while Paris had more from the earlier years. In Paris the toille room was twice the size and they went all around the room. I am really surprised the Met didnt have any of their pieces loaned out. The curator for this has been the same for every city it has been in so it is pretty consistent with the pieces they show. Pieces newer were the NY Salon fashions and a few of the Hollywood gowns. Thinking about it I really missed Junon (big and small), Venus, Miss Dior and many Galliano pieces featured in Paris and London.
