During a trip to London in 1955, Hollywood royalty Gene Marshall met Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at a reception at Buckingham Palace.  “Your majesty!”, Gene says nervously as she curtsies to the most famous woman in the world.  The Queen tells Gene of her fondness for her work at Monolithic Studios and praises her dramatic skill.  “I really do love your costumes.”, her majesty notes. “I believe one has to truly look the part in order to be it”.  “Oh, your majesty, I love your clothes!”, Gene says. “I watched your coronation on television, you looked amazing”.  “Gene, how would you like a special treat?”, her majesty says.  The Queen takes Gene to her display room where her coronation outfit and crown jewels are being kept temporarily whilst the tower gets cleaned. “How would you like to try this on, Gene?” her majesty asks. Gene is shocked and excited!  Gene models the Queen’s coronation gown. Now she only needs a regal cape and a set of priceless jewels!  “I could get used to this!”, Gene says as she regally struts her royal stuff! |
