Trying to see what the fee was for an item is a nightmare first in USD then in CAD then with the exchange rate and then what the fee will be for that day since we all know exchange rates fluctuate! For now on i am going to try to put it on the doll boards first before ebay. Unfortunately there is really no other decent platform and most are charging as well.Also they wanted me use a different platform to get to canadapost...i remember this one for one teeny tiny littlest mistake and it will take you a long time to get your money back. I did a fundraiser on facebook and they used this platform. Never again. I was missing a zero that I had never used in my bank account. The paperwork they wanted...well lets just say it was like having the gov't take every bit of information on you. Paypal doesn't even get anything stating what ebay is telling them what they have to pay they just take it. It has become so complicated for us with payments in USD...exchange to CAD then to pay an exchange fee as well. Then when we want to buy...since the USD was put into CAD we have to pay in USD get the exchange and pay the exchange fee again....This tax crap on mailing should be shot down....we already pay for the tax at the post why do we have to pay again??? I sold something for 325 USD her bill went up to just under $400 due to all the taxes fees and shipping cost, and then they proceeded to take almost 50.00 from me.........I remember when it started out as an AUCTION with a 5 cent fee. Now its a freefor all....with too many so called stores, not just ordinary people just trying to make a few bucks, like it use to be. I would save the money for our trips to the states, or to buy my dolls for as you all know the exchange is killer. Its just made me very sad after 20+ years.
