Some of those early costumes were incredibly well done, and very good representations of period accuracy. Gene was introduced as a 1940s actor, and I have always loved the 1940s. I think it's all those movies I watched when I stayed home from school. My first doll was USO from Mel's appearance on QVC, and the first outfits were Blonde Lace and Cameo, back in about 2000, or 2001. Seems so long ago!
