Some of you may have seen this gown at George's special sale recently. I bought it, and I love it!

But I knew it was made for the JAMIEshow body, not the JAMIEshow GENE body--or at least assumed that it was, because George had it photographed on the JS dress form, which is JS size, not JS Gene size.

So I do have a JS non-Gene body, put the gown on, put a Gene head* on the non-Gene body, and voila! Fits perfect.

The Twist: The gown, turns out, is a Tonner gown called Royal Evening (thank you FB friend who noted this).

So, after a few decades dealing with which 15-16" fashions fit which 15-16" gal, I'm very pleased to report that Tonner outfits--or at least this form-fitting one--fit the JS body perfectly! (Tonner 16" are bigger in the waist and generally longer than Gene, so Tonner's outfits were always a bit loose on our gal.)

Bottom line: Gene--on a JS non-Gene body--can now wear Tonner outfits, and they will fit!

    Enjoy.
