When I moved from FL to Philly in 2012 I packed my dolls>> Archived Message

before moving day. I had over 100 on display and wanted to be sure that all of their accessories: shoes, purses, etc. were packed but I did not trust how they would be handled. I wrapped each doll individually in tissue then placed each doll in a plastic bag and taped it closed in case the container I was putting them in got wet. The container was plastic but I am a worry wart. My doll outfits were already in individual baggies and in large storage tubs. I did have some breakage but it was not my dolls, it was several items that the movers had packed. They were a very reputable local company but still... My dolls arriving safely was more important to me than the difference in cost for my packing vs. their packing. I had a safe move and I was 66 years young at the time and a widow, just me. I don't ever want to move again. Rita in Philly
