NGR, but here is a new doll I am nuts over! Archived Message

Anyone on here gotten into "A Girl for All Time" dolls? they are kind of like the UK's American Girls. They are vastly different, though.
They are 16", and have jointed, fully resin bodies. They are thinner than AG dolls, but stouter than Gene & Trents. Also thinner than the Disney Animator dolls.
Their hard skin is amazing, and more like the skin on Tonner dolls and Gene. Not the soft vinyl feeling and look of American Girl dolls.
Their eyes don't open and close, but I believe are glass. they have really nice face paint, and real eyelashes.
They don't photograph to give you the right idea of what these amazing dolls actually feel like when you hold them in your hand! They are like nothing I've seen yet!
They give you the idea of old, European dolls, and kind of make you think of a high-end composition doll with the nice alabaster skin of Gene. These are more of a fashion doll and a bit more grown-up than AG dolls, but not as grown up as Gene.
We haven't made any clothes for them yet, but have a few patterns for as soon as Mom and Sarah get the machine going this Winter!
I got Lydia, as well, but don't think she's had a photo shoot yet. I should get Sis to do some pictures of both together.
This is Matilda (although, her name is now Sarah Camilla, after a dear friend from Scotland). She is their Medieval doll, hence the very cool clothes. She really looks like an elf from the Lord of the Rings! I think I am going to have to make her some elf costumes. I'm really thinking about trying to get another Matilda and re-wig it and repaint the mouth to make it into a boy doll.
