the ones made especially for an individual! Whether it is doing a pencil drawing of a person or thing for someone, or making a military display for someone, or sewing something, embroidering, etc.
Made this for my Uncle this Christmas. His older bro was a USAF pilot and was KIA in Vietnam:
Also made a smaller version for my cousin (my Uncle's son):
I made this a few Christmases ago, and it actually got me started on hand-embroidering patches! -
Drew this two years ago to turn into a Christmas card for a Sherlock-nuts friend. Drew it, then scanned it down to fit on a card.
This Christmas, for my sister, I made American Girl doll size versions of this British cap and the typical Castle Guards Bearskin hat, but no pics yet of doll ones, as Sis doesn't know yet! -
Did this for my Dad last year . . . took one of his dress shirts and embroidered three fishing flies on the pocket, to match one of his ties. He wears a tie and dress shirt every day to work ---
Did this for Sis . . . a wool coaster mat, as she is crazy about Bing Crosby!
So . . . making stuff is my favorite way to do presents!
