was the same Jim from The Gene Team at Ashton Drake. I met him several times while I was working at The Doll Market in Greensboro. In our speaking at doll signings, he learned I was mad about redheads. The second time he came down for a doll signing with Mel, he brought a couple of redheads and gave them to me, QC hair sample dolls. One is a vivid red that was never produced. Think Ariel red, like Celestial Gardens used to do. Hair on both almost to their knees. I wish I had put two and two together while he was here and posting but I just had no idea the Jim with the critters was the same Jim. He was so kind to me, and shows his character so much that he remembered me and my love for the redheads a whole year later and brought me those dolls. This would have been roughly 1998. So many interconnections between all of us than I think we realize, probably never even find out. RIP Jim Gaddis. I wish I had known your last name on here. I would have told you years ago how much that kindness meant to me.
