Definitely a Chinese brocade.

I was lucky to be able to buy this brocade in a variety of colors, mostly now used up. I was so smitten with the colors when having the yardage cut for me that it didn't register that the fabric was only 32" wide. Laying out pattern pieces, and allowing for matching the motif placement at seams really ate up the fabric. Sadly the little shop where I bought the fabric didn't survive covid. As with dolls, we seldom regret the fabric we bought, and always regret the fabric we didn't buy enough of. .
