some behind the scenes reference models for some of the famous ones. https://americanpulps.com/pinup-pulp-art-reference-models/ These painters used a lot of the famous models/starlets of the day but Elvgren in particular used the same model over and over, who was Janet Rae, (legend has it) his next door neighbor.
