who wrote the story cards has passed away. Those of us who attended the AD conventions remember how much fun he was. He frequently wrote skits based on the characters in Gene's world, and called up attendees to be part of a "radio show." When I began working for AD, they asked me for a snapshot of myself. This was before the days of digital photography. I was attending my first convention as a team member, had arrived at an airport (maybe Newark?) picked up my luggage and was wandering around looking for signs that might direct me to a shuttle service. A man I didn't recognize, said, "Are you Lynne?" He had seen the photo I sent in at the office. He introduced himself, and we agreed that we didn't know how to get to the hotel. We laughed a lot and decided it was better being clueless together and not alone. He was a sweetheart, and I will always think of him fondly.
