I splurged last year and bought a yard of silk dotted taffeta that I have been hoarding ever since. I finally decided on the gown to make with it. I started with Vine Nowell's Absolute Drama jacket.




Then topped (bottomed) it off with the skirt from Night at the Opera. I loved this skirt, but never wanted to make the bustier - I dislike grommetted backs.



The nicest thing about the skirt is the great train!


Should I add on rhinestone buttons, or leave the jacket as is to show off jewelry?
