I always loved choosing and buying paper every year, but it creates too much waste. Last year, and this year too (so far!), I used mainly remnants of previously used paper.

For larger gifts (like a sweater in a box), I tape together pieces of differently patterned papers to get a sheet that’s large enough--a patchwork quilt of paper. Some have turned out quite lovely!
