Truth is simple to understand.
Proverbs 28:9
"When one will not listen to the law,
even one’s prayers are an abomination." TEV
To be an "abomination" is not a good thing.
There are things and behaviors that Yahweh calls "abominations",
should we not arm ourselves with the knowledge of what they are so as to avoid them?
Many people today teach that we are simply "under grace" and thereby do not need to observe The Law of Yahweh,
how sad that they attract so many fools.
Here is the truth;
Our salvation is by the grace of Yahweh and not our observance of The Law, however,
this does not release us from the observance of Yahweh's Law.
The truly saved Christian has no trouble with Yahweh's Law or the observance of those Laws,
those who are ardent in dismissing Yahweh's Law place their own salvation in question along with those who listen and follow then in their folly.
To even make this as simple as possible:
Obey Yahweh = Life
Disobey Yahweh = Hell
