In response to strong anti-Semitic efforts being initiated by the leaders of Muslim nations, I have joined with Liberty Counsel in adding my name to an open letter of support for Israel, which will be delivered next week to American and Israeli leaders. Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the United Nations General Assembly and called for a “clear red line” to be drawn against Iran’s nuclear development program.

“At this late hour, there is only one way to peacefully prevent Iran from getting atomic bombs and that's by placing a clear red line on Iran's nuclear weapons program. Red lines don't lead to war; red lines prevent war.”

The Prime Minster’s address comes on the heels of days of arrogant verbal assaults by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad against Israel and the United States.

Yesterday, Ahmadinejad delivered a message to the General Assembly proposing a “new world order that would be absent of the hegemony of arrogance”

In other words, he would render the United States powerless in the international community – and “eliminate” Israel entirely! He then reiterated many of his previous unbalanced and detestable statements against Israel and the United States.

Earlier this week, Ahmadinejad unleashed an incendiary verbal barrage against Israel and the United States, claiming that Israel has ‘no roots’ in the Middle East and is an annoyance that can be ‘eliminated.’

This is the same despot who denies the Holocaust, has referred to Israel as a “tumor,” and has said that Israel should be wiped off the map!

As I have said in several venues during the lead-up to the U.N. sessions this week, Iran’s objective is to humiliate Israel and polarize international opinion against our ally, leaving them friendless and without assistance to defend themselves from Islamic terror.

Following the adjournment of the United Nations General Assembly next week, we are delivering our “I Stand United with Israel” open letter to American and Israeli leadership.

In order to do this, I must close out the letter signing by Sunday, September 30, at midnight! I would very much like to deliver these letters with no less than 50,000 signatures and we are close to reaching that goal.

Having met with Mr. Netanyahu on several occasions, I must say that when he speaks, the world listens. He is a true leader, and a man full of passion for his people and concern for the welfare of Western Civilization.
