Well, did you enjoy your Chick-fil-A?
On August 01, 2012 Christians and all others who support free speech went to the "Inventors of the Chicken Sandwich" and voted their support of the CEO Dan Cathy and his Companies stand on traditional marriage. The lines were amazing around here! I saw no protesting at all at any of the local Chick-fil-A stores.
I pray the message has been heard, loud and clear.
What I never heard is this "hate" that some speak of, where is it?
Think about what Mr. Cathy said for a moment...
He supports traditional marriage, where is the "hate speech" in that statement? He did not say that gays would not be served or hired at Chick-fil-A, only that he supported a biblical view of the institution of marriage. What of those who live together without being married, why they should be offended also. What about those who committ adultery? Have multiple wives? Marry a guitar? Marry a dolphin? (yeah, Google them!)
No, the homosexual groups sought this one out and chose to be offended for the press coverage.
Just like their Hollywood supporters.
We do have to admit, the homosexual groups have done a better job of misinformation than we have in informing people of the truth.
I have heard in the news that some of the leftward leaning have softened their stance on blocking new Chick-fil-A stores from opening in Boston, Chicago and Washington after witnessing the outpouring of support for Chick-fil-A and Dan Cathy.
I wonder why the media fails to give as much attention to the backpedaling of those who attack God and His plan for our lives when faced with overwhelming and Godly opposition.
May God truly bless the entire Cathy family and those who work at and support Chick-fil-A.
