Well, big surprise, Hollywood is at it again (or, as usual).
A film opened in theaters on Friday, June 6th that "addresses" the origins of human life with the fantasy of aliens seeding earth...
no, I'm not making this up...
really.
The film is titled "Prometheus" and contains in its story line the idea that many years ago aliens seeded Earth. Many folks today will accept this wild tale as fact for reasons no better that they don't want to believe God. How sad.
This wild idea stems from a theory called “directed panspermia” by Francis Crick, who co-discovered the structure of the DNA molecule, for which he received a Nobel Prize. He has proposed his wild theory “that life on earth may have begun when aliens from another planet sent a rocket ship containing spores to seed the earth.” How many children would ask the question, “Where did the aliens come from?” Oh, sorry, far too simple to be considered by such an advanced mind right? Have you ever stood between two mirrors? Was there an alien race that seeded the planet of aliens that seeded Earth? Where did they come from? Were they seeded also? Mr. Crick’s hypothesis only pushes the argument back several steps with no final resolution. “This scenario still leaves open the question of who designed the designer [aliens] — how did life originally originate?”
Anything to deny the truth of creation...
