Throughout history people have been called to remember, remember those lost, remember the victories or simply to remember.
God's Holy Word speaks of a call to remember, remember your deliverance from Egypt, remember your victories over nations much larger than you, remember the blessings and mercy God has shown.
As Americans we look to our own historical mile markers in remembrance of great moments and great sacrifices in our lives. We remember 1776, 1812, 1861, 1898, 1914, 1941, 1950, 1955, 1979, 1983, 1991, 2001 and 2003. We have personal mile markers we remember also which can be sources of comfort or regret.
Today is the tenth anniversary of the cowardly attacks by those who seek to destroy us for no better reason than hate.
Hate because we have a better life style.
Hate because we are Christian.
Hate because they have been taught to hate.
Please pray for the victims, their families and yes, the terrorists. Pray for peace, comfort and salvation.
God bless America, let us pray that America will praise God for His blessings and righteousness.
