When I remember back on all the things that my father taught me. I realize that I have taught some of the lessons that I taught my kids. Specifically “Pull my finger”. I always thought it was amazing that I could make my dad make........noises. Yeah I know it's gross, but it was still amazing. I hope that my kids didn't don't follow my example because I learn how to be weird. But unfortunately now having teenagers I realize that my hopes and dreams where crushed many years ago because my sins are incredibly weird. The things they say out of the blue make me realize that my kids have learned the lessons I had taught them very well. For this I apologize in advance to those who will meet my sons in the future. I realized early that my sons have inherited my bizarre sense of humor. And now that they have the ability to for their own thoughts, their thought are out there. Especially my son Wally. He is an entertainer who is always on. And yes at times I wish he had an off switch. I chalk this up to the parents curse of “Have children who act just like you”. I have two and the world is less secure for it. Sorry.

But the one thing I am completely proud of how responsible they have became. They have never been in trouble, I had never had to bail them out of jail which is always good. And they did it by defying the odds. I know how GOD must have felt when Jesus first appeared and was baptized when he said,in Matthew 3:17 Then a voice said from heaven, "This is my own dear Son, with whom I am pleased."

I know the greatest gift an father can receive is the opportunity to say exactly what the Heavenly Father said. And I can proudly stand and say to the world about ours, "These are my own dear sons, with whom I am well pleased."
