We have all heard someone say that television is one of Satan's favorite tools, right?
The commercial starts with a phone call from a husband to his wife stating that he will be late due to his work, the camera fades to a copy room in an office somewhere and shows a man and a woman in a passionate embrace. There is a sound heard in the office, like the sound of a door and the couple freeze - the announcer says "They should have used Ashley Madison". Contact info is given and the commercial ends.
I have seen this commercial on ABC, CBS and NBC.
Is it on Fox? I don't know.
What is so bad about the commercial that it causes me to write this and ask you to contact your local station and the Networks? If one reads the "tag line" on the commercial you will read, "Life's short, have an affair." WHAT???
If someone tells you that they see no problem with the commercial simply ask them if they have ever read a Bible, ever. The message being sent here is that your life is short and if you don't have an affair, well, you're missing out on something. And you are, if you don't have an affair you're missing out on separation from God, you're missing out on the chance to be openly rebellious to Gods will for your life. See what you are missing out on?
By not contacting Ashley Madison you miss out on the opportunity to destroy your family and your future. You miss out on divorce court, alimony, limited visitation of your children and perhaps even a "social disease".
Just look at what all you will be missing out on!
Let's take a stand against this open attack on morality, let's stand together and contact our local stations and the networks. Let's tell them that America is not interested in a "dating service for those who are unfulfilled in their marriages".
Why do people turn to adultery?
Because they don't want have to ask the question, "if I'm not fulfilled is it my fault?"
Or, "Is there something I could do to improve things?"
Or, "Is there someone I could talk to about this?"
No, far too many people simply want to walk away without trying, without effort and without commitment. They choose to be selfish, they choose to hurt themselves and everyone involved. They choose to turn away from God in open rebellion.
This commercial is a clear attack on the family. This commercial is a clear attack on the church.
We need to stand united against these attacks.
Contact your local station and tell them you do not approve of this commercial, or any like it that advertises sin.
Then, click on the links below to send your comments to the networks.
