If you look around the world today you don't have to look very far to see that this world is dying. Sin is ramped everywhere you look. From the immoral actions of caused by a lack of knowledge that Satan has invaded the lives of so many. The think it's their own choices and wills but unfortunately they don't realize that they are fulfilling the will of the devil. He tells them “Look you don't have to worry about anything, because there is no consequence to your actions.” Guess what they do and there is.
Jesus warns us that if we remain separated from him and deny him then he will deny us before the Father. Now I don't know about you but I couldn't care any less about what the world thinks of me but I pray that GOD finds me faithful to HIS will.
What if they person who shared with you refused to do it because of their “personal issues”?Where would you be now? You probably are thinking “Well eventually someone would have shared with me”. But what if they didn't? What if the time of your death came and you were standing before GOD and he was asking you why He should let you in to HIS kingdom? What could you say? You couldn't claim the sacrifice of Christ because you hadn't received it or believed it. And Jesus will say to you, “Away from me for I never knew you.”
So why are you wasting the opportunities to share your faith? I know it can be a stressful task but you know it doesn't have to be. The truth is that What ever GOD has ordained will always succeed as long as it happen within accordance of HIS will. Look at what David wrote in his 37th Psalm verse 23.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
GOD ordered the righteous to walk a certain way and when they do GOD delights. But it goes even further then that look at the next verse in this passage.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
In other word if we stumble we won't fall because the LORD is there to catch us. Now this isn't just
talking about physically walking around , but when we stumble from sin we won't fall because of it.
The bible teaches us that we all sin and fall short of the glory of GOD. Here's an example of this.
Say I made a challenge to you to see who could hit the North Pole with a rock while standing in China. Now we both stand up there and take our turns. My rock goes just a little further then
yours, but failed to hit the North Pole. So do I win? NO because we both failed because we came short
of hitting our target of the North Pole. There is no such thing as good enough. And that is the mindset
we need to have when we share the gospel with people. We need to remember that we are still sinners.
The only difference is that we know we can be forgiven through Christ. It's like telling someone that
you have the same illness but you have the cure and are willing to share it with them.
We are GOD'S voice to a hurting world. It is GOD'S desire to see all of HIS children saved. Jesus
taught in the parable of the lost sheep that GOD would leave the 99 to find the one. Why because He
knows that the 99 has each other to keep them on track as where as the 1 has no one but themselves.
And even if only one repents and accepts Christ the bible says that “All of heaven rejoices over the
one.”
Evangelism and witnessing isn't about numbers. There isn't a set quota that we need to fulfill. We
just need to share the gospel with those we come in contact with.
In closing I want to take away your excuses not to share.
I don't know what to say.
That's okay the Holy Spirit does. As long as you are speaking in the spirit and speaking truth you are
fulfilling your duty as a servant.
What if they reject what I am saying?
You are doing your part and your part doesn't include converting. Only GOD and convict and
convert. Our only job is to make contact, plant the seed. GOD will cultivate it, care for it and make it
grow.
What if they say they don't believe in GOD?
You will get this a lot. But the key is that you need to remember what you experienced when you
first accepted Christ and found out that GOD really does exist. Ask them if they believe in wind? They
will of course stay they do. But I guarantee that no one has ever seen the wind. They have only seen
and felt the effects of the wind, therefore they put faith in the fact that wind exist because of what they
know. And if you are feeling extra bold that day you can tell them, “Let's say that I don't believe in semi
trucks. If I was standing on the freeway and a truck was barreling toward me. My disbelief in semi
trucks isn't going to change the reality that they do.”
These are just a few example. I'm sure that you may have many more question. If you do please
feel free to email me and I will do my best to get you an answer as soon as possible.
God bless you in your service to HIM!
