You have a long memory. The happy days of the Black Rose pub ended in 1990 and in any case I left London 18 years ago.

I hope I am still as affable as you say, but after many years now keep Caroline suubjects away from my social life, such as it is.

If you had, for instance, a 40 year career of bus driving, you would not want to go out in the evening to talk about buses.

There are many good people in and around Caroline and I happily talk to them. If you are referring to my attitude with Scott, he pushed me to my limit.
