Mr Bohan’s knowledge of the Irish pirates is sketchy with his book containing many schoolboy errors.
The “biscuit tin” pirate he often refers to for some reason, was a station that broadcast for a very short period in the 2000’s during a festival in Monaghan.
Its relevance to the Irish pirate era is minimal to say the least, but he keeps quoting it.
