I took a quick detour today and parked up at two locations over Eastbourne, Warren Hill and Beachy Head by the pub. Each one has a good view to the east, the entire coast to Dungeness plus of course the English Channel so I scanned DAB. Results were two French MPXs, a Belgian MPX and a couple of hundred stations mainly from London, Sussex and Kent.

Keeping it relevant I had no less that four Radio Caroline's on locals, Brighton, Ashford, West Kent and Kent Coast. What surprised me was no reception of the Hastings transmitter, cross checking I did receive both Angel and CPR but while I could hear the Hants signals there was nothing from the line of sight Hastings!

Is it on dummy load, running mW or just got a fault?
