Been doing a few propagation experiments involving the wooferton SDR. This is a good one and has very little electrical noise affecting it.

From here , 300W at 576 into my electrically short aerial results in positive ID at wooferton.

500W into the same antenna at 765 gives about the same S/N,

Max power I can raise at 1476 doesent register at all at wooferton

however locally, the opposite is the case because the electrically short antenna is much more efficient at the top end of the band.
