The charity shop in my town used to listen to Smooth on 1170 from Ipswich, They now listen to Nation which I why I assume they were tuned in on AM and not DAB.
A couple of Taxis I've travelled in have had Talk Sport or 5 live on AM.
Despite the strong signal in this area I have not heard a single radio tuned to 648 (although I have travelled with an anorak who was listening).
