Much as I would like to the BBC crash and burn for their role in removing the 60's pirates I don't think the Tangerine Tyrant can do it.

If he sues in a Florida court then they do not have jurisdiction in England, and he can't sue in an English court as there's one year limitation on reputational damage liable. Also an English court would award a max of £300K, certainly not the $4bn he is after.
