As a young anorak I was very anti BBC and detested the national monopoly they had when I first got into Radio.
Hated Radio two and only listened to Noel Edmond’s breakfast show and Robbie Vincent’s late night London on BBC Radio London.
With the current issues they’re having my younger self would love Trump to take them down.
My views are now are very different, I still think they are over bloated and need to maybe stop trying to broadcast to everyone and concentrate on what they do best. News, documentaries, comedy and plays and local journalism.
I now find myself a reluctant supporter and it is a standard that others should look towards trying to achieve.
