For non anoraks in the seventies it would have been the norm to listern to 208 at night and on Sunday morning retune to 247.Many Sunday land based pirate stations were active at this time and no doubt picked up listeners when broadcasting between those two frequencies. Considering that in the summer months 1439 would have been a clear channel in the day why did no one take advantage of this and pick up a potential massive audience on a Sunday morning.Yes even an anorak like myself did listen at times to 208, not always easy to listern to seventies offshore radio when based in the Midlands.
