As a listener i cannot say what is true and what isn't. However I find Neil Gates' comments just sour grapes.

Is his suggestion to have Caroline back at sea - broadcasting on AM and having to fight the elements when there is an alternative solution that is far more achievable by using the Internet?

If so then i would imagine Caroline would have failed years ago- instead whilst we don't have the swashbuckling Caroline we have a station that fundamentally carries on in the same tradition.
I say well done PM and the volunteers that keep th station alive.
