it was a special time for me. i remember the winter of 77/78 when stuart roger and brian kept the english service going for many many weeks.

there must have been plenty fuel as signals were there nightly .... it was just some extended bad weather that stopped crew changes .... from memory.

he was only there 11 months but clocked up an amazing 452 hours or so. acc to monitor 1984 log....
