I an in North Essex (Essex Suffolk border) about 21 miles in a straight line from Harwich and can just detect a very weak signal on 1575 but too weak to make out and modulation. As expected this station has likely got a usable range of about 5 miles which is about right for a standard 1 Watt RSL.
