Ordinary radio is a dying medium or at least a mature medium that younger generations don’t really consume. DAB is a struggling platform that’s only growing for those in automobiles. These stations may have helped the DAB platform and encouraged DAB use, otherwise the programmes that would have been aired can be listened to via BBC sounds. Which is great if you have the setup in the car and can be bothered with the extra steps.
Look forward to the national Radio Atlantis but do try to get it on soon as it’s later than you think 😉
