Thank your for your interest in Veronica 102, Veronica Super Gold, Hits FM, The Music Machine etc these were stations run by my then team and I. The concept behind these projects was to play oldies from the UK USA and Europe, the main stay was geared to the Euro pop / Rock hits of the day i.e. very Hi energy music which was very popular with the listener and would receive hundreds of calls on 0208 443 1191 no longer on line! lol I had feedback from staff at the then Capital Gold telling how the likes of Tony Blackburn would often be found listening when in the record library as the on duty staff would have Veronica and or the Music Machine on the whole time. lots of complements were thrown at us from various well known individuals within the radio world mainly due to the music format and the brash seaborne sounding presentation. An interesting situation arose with the Music Machine and what its idea / concept was and how it operated as it became very popular. Some time after we learned of the station being listened to by those at Capital Gold. After midnight they ran what they called the Capital gold machine and hey ho if it wasn't a direct copy in every sense of the word! We found it amusing that they would come to an land based pirate radio for their bright new idea lol. I only enlisted those that could cut it and match my own abilities behind the mike. One occasion that springs to mind was having a dear departed friend and college Jim Coad ie James Kay telling me that on this particular occasion when he and Ronan O'reilly were both at Caroline's Highgate office Ronan having been listening all day to Veronica as Jim had us on throughout turned to Jim and said why aren't these guys out on the boat! With Jim replying because they would want paying! And that I GS would want a total free hand Jim said Silence could then be heard lol,, shame because it would have had the biggest boot up the rudder since Big L made it adopt real rocking radio back in the 6o's an opportunity lost! Most of those boring albums would have made for good Frisbee's. lol

You asked will I at some point upload programs to Utube! Yes very likely as I do have many hours of the whole team on Veronica 102, Veronica Super Gold, The Music Machine, Radio London 266 and others that I a ran over 40 yrs.
