I get the same delay for the page to finish loading. It's that ForumPic7.jpg image being dragged from Garry's site.

I think the problem is that the browser is blocking a non secure http sourced image on another site trying to be inserted into this secure https page.
Eventually it times out. Some browsers are more forgiving or their security settings have been lowered to allow it.

Annoying but fixed if Garry gets a free SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt to host his content. But I don't think he checks this site out much these days.
