Idea came from myself and an old friend who had a studio in Chelsea agreed to record and fund its release on his label.
Liz West and Erin Kelly were on shore leave so I lined them up however not many know that also on the recording was Paul Young originally with Sad Cafe then lead singer in Mike and the Mechanics.
John Deacon laid down the base line the day before alongside Roy Wood.
I remember turning up at the studio with Liz and Erin on a Sunday morning and was amazed when we heard who had helped lay down the backing track.
Paul was already booked into the studio for something else that day and didn't need any persuasion to add his voice which is easily recognisable if you listen to All I need is a Miricle or Over my shoulder classic Mike and The Mechanics songs.
I think will forget about the man from Whitehall the words which we added in the pub at lunchtime.
