Norman Barrington once told me of an amusing incident when Paul Rusling was onboard - I believe he just did a three week stint at the time of the 389 service. Apparently he was placed naked in one of the lifeboats and set adrift by Andy Archer. When one of the crew said to Archer that he couldn't set him adrift in this state, he replied 'of course not' and threw Rusling a tie
