What a choice!

Whether you are a Radio Caroline fan or not, it is irrelevant. It is about the music and the presentation. When it returned on 19th August 1983 the opening show was pathetic, and lost many listeners instantly. Gradually, the playlist and DJ's got better and the listeners returned. Many of today's Radio Caroline listeners can be classified as the 'older generation', but not all. The majority will remember the broadcasts from the Ross Revenge, especially when in competition with Laser 558 in the 1980's, a lesser number the broadcasts from the Mi Amigo (especially evening/night), in the 1970's and even less the broadcasts from the Fredericia/Mi Amigo' in the 1960s. Today we have an excellent opportunity to compare three different styles of content, presentation and enthusiasm. In addition to 648/1368 we have the 'Special' streaming on the Internet, in competition with 'Flashback' and the normal 'Album Station'. I hope that Peter Moore will release the Streaming Listener Numbers for ALL three versions of Radio Caroline this weekend. The result should be the standard Daytime output style for the 648kHz transmissions. Scottg.
