Just to get the facts right: The guy who sent messages from the GPO in Dublin in the Irish uprising in 1916 was John 'Blimey' O' Connor who sent out news of the rebellion in morse code only as there wasn't any AM equipment in general use at the time. It was picked up by a ship in the North Atlantic and was relayed to New York. Ronan's grandfather was called Michael O' Rahilly (The O' Rahilly) and died in 1916 in the uprising and WB Yeats wrote a poem about him. https://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-o-rahilly/
