Thanks Agb, Fred,all good ideas,yes AgB it was v strong on the frame, and a good strength, with out the frame aerial,i believe you live in the West Kent area, they must be running some power, if it is at some distance,it is the first time i have heard this similar to bird like sounds on this freq 657Khz.Yes i do get some type of hash on 666Khz,and similar freqs since the MW stations have closed down. Are they allowed to do this on the MW band? Best Rgds Mike
