Yes I also see it that way Caroline as a station of good format and extreme popularity died 1968 it had millions of listeners on the day after the 67 act compared to a few thousand today! But it is just one among hundreds of stations to choose from today. Regarding its format 70's onwards I guess its to do with our age as we grew up with 60's music and the likes of Big L so very understandable why we don't favour what followed post 68 Caroline wise. Its good the name is still around but just like yourself its not listenable to me personally, there are some who like it and good for them I guess. As for Ronan he was Caroline simply that! Without him it would never have happened and there would have been no Big L etc God bless him he started the whole thing of which shaped my life going forward and of which turned into a good financial living supplying transmitters, installations, voiceovers, adds, jingles, station indents and shows etc! I owe all of that to Ronan as he woke all of that within me all those years ago, although fully retired now..
