S.A. and Mike S, thanks for your reports. I do not understand why (or is it - ask for more, and hope for less?) they requested 16kW EMRP. I believe that they should have requested 10kW EMRP again. This is one of the reasons why - currently running at 4kW, approx 105,000kW of electricity is used per year. Running at 10kW EMRP, 230,000kW electricity per year. Running at 16kW EMRP, 382,000kW electricity per year. That is a massive 152000kW of extra electricity for an extremely small gain of 12.5/15km in the 2mV service area distance. It simply is not cost efficient. Also at 10kW EMRP it would not overspill (2mV) into Region 10(London) - that is taboo. The next few days when we have proper sunny weather, will be a testing point for the solar array, to show how many hours it can produce maximum output with a clear sunny sky. I believe it is under performing, and fine tuning could be required. Scottg.
