Radio Jackie holds a commercial, not community, licence! You're not very good with facts, are you Nigel?
"'C' is a commercial station. Yet it has decided not to go for an audience, nobody is listening so it sells very little paid ads anyway."
Caroline is a community station, thus has limits on the amount of advertising it can sell (see below), every year they set a new record on income from listeners, which would indicate an ever increasing audience.
If you can not understand the basic differences between a commercial and community radio licence, no wonder you post so much nonsense.
-----
Each station can carry advertising and sponsorship, although there are rules on how much income they can take from these sources (income above £15,000 from advertising and sponsorship must be balanced with additional income from other sources).
