I assume you are talking about the London VHF pirates, with the "if you can stomach them" observation, but there are many in other parts of the country which carry different genres and formats. Yes the London pirates are an acquired taste, but remember they are playing music not covered by the borg or beeb, so they are not too different in their aims as we were in the 70's and 80's.
