To be honest, while I like lots of 60s tracks, there is a lot of 60s stuff that should just be forgotten and NEVER played on the radio. Or at all!. I would never countenance a format that was simply "all 60s" , or in fact all any other era. Thats totally the wrong way to attract an audience.
What cant stations play GREAT music, as so many claim to do in their positioning statements?
And why do so many have these horrible "positioning statements" anyway? With mangled voices that just sound awful. Do they really think that if listeners hear such lies often enough they will believe such nonsense?
There is so much wrong with radio today!
