Re: What will be the first national radio station in Britain to cease broadcasting on FM?
Logic says it should be Radio 3 as it has by far the fewest listeners for a national network by logic rarely applies. Radio 3 should switch to DAB+ at 64k Stereo on digital radio giving superb quality and being online. The network could then be auctioned off for a new national FM network for maybe ten years after which everything will be digital anyway.Maybe Bauer could buy it for GHR and release the former ILR stations back for more local uses. It will never happen of course
