Back to this topic. This is very bad news for East Anglia if Ofcom approve that change. The East of England regional licence was advertised as and was supposed to be, a radio station for young people under 35. It was supposed to be a rhythmic format for young people.

It was better as Vibe FM of course and never should have been allowed to be a relay of Kiss 100, however what is proposed now is a massive change of use. It will lead to less choice for listeners as others above have stated. I guess though money talks and Bauer calculated that GHR will make more money than Kiss on those freqs. Ofcom are a toothless regulator if they allow this to happen. They tend to be mates with these big groups so it will probably happen.
