In terms of keeping the dream alive, or perhaps in our case a lack of creative naming, I/we ran a station on FM from Kent Uni in about ‘82 as a proof of concept, which we called Caroline. We learnt afterwards that Roger Day and the Invicta folks had heard it and panicked it was the real deal. Which perhaps suggested we sounded alright. It amused us anyway and ironically the real deal surfaced later. We did a couple more as KFM and the also not too inventively named Sunshine Radio. Both went down well with students on campus and out in Herne Bay as at the time the campus transmitter was slumming it on induction loop AM.
