Yes your right it was used by the Beeb and beamed East to cover parts of Western Europe. I don't know if its completely Omni directional now or if the reflectors still play some small part in its field strength paten or even if its totally resonant as all of these factors would play some part in its overall output paten and erp. The one thing that would certainly make a fair difference would be moving the TX to the base of the mast this would defiantly make it more efficient with less loss. Its my estimation that if it were turned up to 10kw and the TX moved to the base of the mast it could gain up to 6 db depending on its currant losses the one thing for sure is it would certainly benefit from these to upgrades.
